do not shave hair on your face! it can grow back course and dark. if you must cut your sideburn hair, use scissors. i used hair clippers for that for awhile, and my stylist told me to use scissors. as far as waxing goes, try having a professional wax your ';unwanted'; facial hair at least once and ask them what they recommend using at home. i have my eyebrows waxed and the only shadow it leaves is pink! lol p.s.-i too, am fair skinned.
waxing will eventually slow the growth as well. try not to use hot wax on the face as if you apply it hot sometimes will leave marks on your face. bad part about waxing you skin will sag faster.
