If you pluck/ wax (female) facial hair.. does it grow back thicker?

Women have hair above their upper lip, obviously.. i feel like i have more than i should (not disgustingly noticeable.. but more than i notice on other people.) i want to pluck it or something.. but does that make it grow back even thicker?

Does Nair for your face do the same??If you pluck/ wax (female) facial hair.. does it grow back thicker?
If you cut a hair of bluntly, as with shaving, when it regrows you will be seeing the thicker, bluntly cut middle of the hair, so it appears to grow back more thick and dark but it's actually not. Tweezing, waxing and using depilatories remove the hair from the root, so when it regrows you will notice it appears to be thinner but it's because the tops of each hair are thinner and lighter than the middle. Tweezing your upper lip won't work-there are too many hairs to tweeze. Sally Hansen makes some great products for facial hair removal that are available at any drug store or mass retailer (like Target or Walmart) and are inexpensive. If you use a depilatory (hair removal cream, like Nair), make sure you buy the facial formula or else it can really irritate your skin and create redness and rashes. Whatever you do, don't shave it-this will make it look thicker and darker as I stated above. Waxing is your best bet.If you pluck/ wax (female) facial hair.. does it grow back thicker?
Plucking hair on your upper lip will not make it grow back thicker instantly. It will but it takes a while for that to happen. I do it myself at times and I have only seen a small change in thickness in the past several years. I don't think Nair will cause it to be thicker either, I know people who use it and it still looks the same. What I would never recommend is to shave it, that will definately make it thicker.
There is nothing that will cause your hair to grow in thicker, darker or more coarse. But plucking overtime can cause the hair to stop growing (takes a few years). So you don't have anything to worry about.

Thanks for that thumbs down. But anyone who believes a hair can grow in thicker and darker from plucking or shaving is just a moron.

As for nair, it melts the hairs from off the surface and slightly into the skin, but it does not melt it completely out. There is still hair left inside the folicle. I wouldn't recommend Nair or Veet, they burn.
the only way facial or any kind of hair on the body will grow back thicker is if you shave with any kind of razor. as far as plucking or waxing, it should grow in very littler time and less thick.
DEFINITELY GROWS BACK THICKER . sorry for caps. I did that and then the only way to stop it was to have laser treatment.
