It sounds ridiculous, but can i use tape to wax my facial hair??

will that work?It sounds ridiculous, but can i use tape to wax my facial hair??
Why not just use wax?It sounds ridiculous, but can i use tape to wax my facial hair??
noooo..honey ur gonna need to use some real wax...tape will mess up ur skin and it will hurt soooooooooooo much
Unfortunately it wont work.
odds are all you are going to pull of is the dead skin on your face. If you don't want to use wax you could try something like a facial buffer or plucking the hair.
Scotch Tape, no; high-end duct tape, maybe.

You would need an extremley sticky tape to hold onto the hair and get the root, something well beyond what you would commonly find. But an industrial grade tape, something meant to be used long term and provide a degree of structural support, and a semi-water-tight seal, might just do it.
It would work if its REALLY sticky tape.

Just remember that a lot of the adhesives they use to make tape wouldn't be very good for your skin :P
Why not use wax? Veet do a good one that you microwave for a few minutes and it doesnt require any strips. It doesnt particularly hurt that much either.
i've thought of that actually. It won't work that well, no. It may take off a few hairs, but in the end it will be more of a hassle because the hair on your face will be sparse and uneven. It's better to just buy those wax strips by Sally Hansen (about $6.99) and do the job right. Let us know if it works though!
i wouldn't because you might mess up and it would hurt alot so i would just go to a salon pay like $14.00 not bad
duck tape might, but i wouldn't suggest it, it might hurt alot!!!!!!!!!!!
Ive thought of that before too....tried it as a kid.ouch.sally hansen wax strips work really well and only cost $7
i dont think regular tape could work cus its not strong enough.

try using duct tape, though.

cut little strips out of it.
I wouldn't! It would probably hurt worse then going to a salon and having your facial hair waxed. If you go to Sally's beauty supply you can even buy the wax and the muslin strips but you have to have something to heat the wax in.
nope. it wont work.

its just not sticky enough.
if you get the silver duct tape, and stick it in the microwave for a FEW SECONDS (so the glue is extra sticky)..it WILL work. ive used it on my cheeks for that peach fuzz looking hair
wouldn't recommend it...don't know if it would work but I think the tape would bond to your skin as much as your hair so it'd be really painful...
Basically no... maybe like packing heavy duty tape.

I suggest going to the nail salon and getting it waxed off.

Tape will bring pain and redness.
holy crap! NOOOOO! just buy some nair...
nope
No I tried it , Its not sticky enough.
1st off all... your picture is like amazing! lol. just wanted to tell you that. and i dont think tape would actually work! lol. nice solution though.. :]
LOL.

Suuuure?

Try?

Duct tape works for all sorts of things.
Step OneShave it, but remember that this is a temporary method of facial hair removal that is not recommended for women. Regrowth tends to occur rapidly.

2Step TwoTweeze it. Tweezing is a good, although somewhat painful way to remove small areas of unwanted facial hair. Because the hair is plucked out at the root, it takes longer for regrowth to appear.

3Step ThreeUse depilatory creams, gels and lotions, which contain a chemical that alters the structure of the hair for easy removal. This chemical can be irritating to skin, so use only a product especially formulated for the face. Always do a skin test on a small area of the face before using the product, and follow directions exactly to avoid irritation or chemical burns.

4Step FourConsider waxing every 4 to 6 weeks, in which you apply hot or cold wax to the area of unwanted hair. The hair becomes affixed to the wax and the wax is then pulled off the skin, taking the hair with it. Test a small area of your skin for an allergic reaction before using, and do not use wax on sunburned or irritated skin.

5Step FiveThink about electrolysis, a permanent hair removal method in which an electrical current is used to destroy the hair root. Several treatments may be required over a period of time, as each hair follicle must be destroyed individually.

6Step SixLaser it. Hair removal by laser must be done by a licensed professional. It can be expensive and time-consuming, and it may not be permanent. It is best to discuss your situation with a professional. You can find one by looking in the yellow pages under ';Hair Removing.';
I don't think tape is strong enough. I *guess* you could try duct tape, but that sounds painful, and it would probably leave a nasty and hard-to-remove residue. If you're willing to put up with the pain, you might as well try hot waxing.
you can it might not work as well though
trust me, you don't want to do that. it will just hurt and it WILL NOT WORK.
Yes, use some masking tape and it will come right off. I guarantee it. But it will hurt a lot.
Think before you ask questions. PLEASE!!!!!! No it will not work girl!
Most likely, this will be ineffective, as the tape won't have enough ';grab'; to remove your facial hair. It will only result in unnecessary chafing and irritation - and why deal with these factors if you aren't getting an end result?

It could even result in a break-out. Stick with a real wax

(Also... are you embarassed to buy it with your family? If that's the case, go shopping with a friend. If even this is difficult, say something like, ';My cousin really needs this but can't buy it, so I have to give this to her this weekend...'; or something similar.)
haha u got facial hair
