So i had a problem which a lot of indian women do, i had dark facial hair so i got my face waxed yesterday. it didnt hurt as much as i thought it would, and the redness was gone by this morning when i woke up. my face is a little itchy but the lady at the salon told me not to itch it. i was just wondering how long after waxing can i take a shower? it was my first time getting it done, and ive heard that you should avoid heat and steamy areas after waxing (especially facial) as it causes the pores to open up and may cause breakouts redness infection etc. so its been almost 24 hours since i got it done, can i go wash my hair? cuz i also heard that you should wait especially if its ur first time getting it done....

you got wrong advice from the start and now you want us to advise you further? Yeah, ok, you should never have had it done in the first place. Now you'll have to keep getting it waxed (costly, and stubble like a man's beard will appear).Facial Waxing tips........?
Waxing is the best way of removing excess hair,especially for Indian women, as like you said, thins the hair and reduces hair growth from it.

Wait 24 hours, now that 24 hours have passed- it is fine to shower/wash.
Advise for facial waxing-don't touch the waxed area afterwards,you don't want germs/bacteria from your hands getting into your open pores,it would cause infection,whiteheads,etc.
Keep it up regularly,you will more than likely see results this way-reduced hair growth,etc.
